We've recieved well over the 3-4 inches predicted, and it's still coming down just as heavy. No one has dared venture out, because our roads aren't taken care of at all.

It's kinda neat, there are no tracks except for those of the animals that brave being up and around.

Hopefully I can find a camera and take some pics... I know it's nothing compared to you Utah folk, but between Everett and Tacoma (like between Ogden and Orem) we have only 86 snowplows, 23 of those are dedicated to Seattle.

Crazy.

Jake has 4 wheel drive, and still had to buy chains to get around. He's stuck at work, my stepdad is stuck at work, and I'm snowed in at my parents' house. Which is ok, considering we picked up my grandparents at the airport yesterday.

Just feels weird without the hub by me.... I think I may be stuck here another night as well. Snow keeps coming down...

There's this big storm that's supposed to be coming in tonight. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm now coming down with a cold the evening before my grandparents get here.

So I get up out of bed early, getting ready for my graduation ceremony at 1, to find out that there's a HUGE EFFING WINTER STORM, with rain/ice/snow/wind/etc. that's supposed to start right around the time the ceremony starts.

I'm getting flashbacks to my wedding reception, and to the open house we had here in WA. Why do big storms always show up at big events for me???
zanthess: (fright)
It's snowing.... in March.... in Washington!!!
