I've just been putting up videos and such, so I figured I'd do a bit more talking.

Jake and I had our first real confrontation the other night. Since we've moved here. I've felt the "evilness" (for lack of a better word) in my parents house even more, and with no job, and no school for the summer, I've relaxed a bit and have forgotten my Zoloft a few days. Pair that with my father getting upset with every change we make in the house even if it's a good change (e.g. we found out that even though they have an hd cable box, they weren't using the right cables to get hd, we fixed it, and he was upset that a function no longer worked... because it was automatic.).

We're not sure how long we really do want to stay here, but we're going to tough it out as long as possible, being that the living here is near free, we just cook, do gardening stuff, and I work for my mom being a Gopher and working the Salon on saturdays.

It was a breakdown, and I sobbed and sobbed, but it was good to get out. We then sat down and planned out the next week as to what we need to get done to make our lives more liveable, and then snuggled.

I think I'm also panicking because neither of us have a job, and we've been spending quite a bit of money (We got a 42" LCD tv for our bedroom, and Jake bought me a Mac Mini for my birthday... I'm actually typing on it right now... I feel dirty).

It's hard for me to keep telling myself that we have only good debt right now, and I still have 3 paychecks waiting from Comcast. I did feel a bit better when we recieved the final one (all in all a total of about $1,500) and we deposited it all and opened up a new bank account here in WA. I've also been focusing on household stuff. Washing clothes (no more pay machines!), cooking, and quilting as well. I'm almost finished with my first full-size quilt, I promise I will post pics when it does get finished.

We did have a lot of fun on Sunday, Jake and I finally had our big birthday bash with the fam, Jake BBQed salmon, burgers, and steak. I ended up snacking on all 3! My job was to referee all the rugrats outside. Holy cow, those 2 year olds can run. I think my husband enjoyed watching me run around with kids, as did everyone else. I actually got a few comments on how much fun of a mom I will be...

I can't wait to have a little one of my own... One year and counting.

That's pretty much it for right now. Time to go do some more laundry and quilting, and get ready for my niece's 5th birthday party tonight. I can't believe I've been gone so long. This will be her first birthday party that I will be in WA for.

I gotta go find something pink to wear :P
