Aug. 19th, 2007 07:41 pmWent to the Seattle Gift Show today. My feet are swelling and screaming in pain as we speak.
Went to a lot of food places that have minimum purchases. The whole family is going through the lists and deciding what cases of what we want to order and split, mainly for food storage.
Jake and I found two Tibetan prayer bowls. They are absolutely beautiful and they resonate just like crystal glasses do. We have a small one that is decorated inside and out and has a high note. The other one is much larger and is plain brass. The tone from it is hard to hear, but you can feel it if you are near. Hmm... I wonder if a webcam + mic could pick up the sound.
Other than that, not much else goin' on. Just sittin' back and relaxing, resting up for the trip back to the show tomorrow.
