If you live in the Utah area this is for you. everyone does not need to worry.

If you were upset about Comcast using the EAS system every 15 minutes for a girl who took her 5 month old child that needed medical attention and actually CALLED to complain about it, you guys really need to take another look at what's more important.

Your recording of Babylon 5 or a CHILD'S LIFE

I see an easy answer here.

I really hate seeing how people are turning out in this day and age.

It wasn't Comcast. It was an Amber Alert which is required by law to make the alerts every 15 minutes. And unless I remember incorrectly, Amber Alerts and Adam Alerts are handled by government people.

But yeah, I agree, some people are too removed from real life to realize that children's lives are more important than their TV show.

Of course, most channels have a day-later-online episode post. And TV on DVD is a big thing.

It comes down to humanitarian feelings and patience. Lots of people have neither.

Yeah, but I was at work when we were over 40 in queue from people wanting credit for their shows getting messed up. When I tried to explain to them that it is a government controlled thingy that made them even angrier.

It's just sad to see that the things that are non-essential get people the angriest when it doesn't work. I lived without tv for 1 1/2 years and rabbit ears for 6 months, and I managed to survive :P

And people wonder why test scores in America are piddly. We're dependent on the imaginations of others to entertain us. 'Course they better not mess up the return show of Heroes after their six week break.

But I wouldn't call anyone about it.

I'd just watch it the next day online. Silly humans.
